Reusable Cup Hire Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

 “Provider” refers to IRD Duhallow CLG, the entity managing the reusable cups.

 “Hirer” refers to the individual or organization renting the reusable cups.

 “Cups” refers to the reusable drinkware items provided under this agreement, and

include pints, half-pints and hot beverage cups with lids

2. Booking & Payment

 Cups are provided in hinged lid containers and orders are per full container unit as

follows:

o Pint cups – 192 cups per container (Large blue container)*

o ½ pint cups - 315 cups per container (Large grey container)*

o Hot beverage cups - 100 cups per container (Medium blue container)*

o Lids for hot beverage cups – 100 lids per container (Small blue container)*

Note: Colour and size of containers may vary to accommodate mixed orders.

 The cost of the service includes:

o Delivery and collection of the cups and associated containers to and from the

event location,

o Washing of cups and containers - €0.15 per cup ordered, €0.50 per container.

o Refundable deposit of 10% (for pints and half-pints) and 20% (for coffee cups and lids) of total cost to cover cost of lost and/or damaged

cups and/or containers

 Full payment (including any refundable deposit) is required at time of booking, via

credit card only.

 Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of payment, acceptance of these T&C’s

and approval by the provider.

 The order must be placed a minimum of 14 days prior to desired delivery date.

3. Hire Duration

 Standard hire period is 5 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 All cups and containers (used and unused) must be returned to the provider within 7

calendar days of the event. Late returns may incur a late fee of €50 per day.

4. Deposit & Damages

 The deposit paid will be refunded (refer to Booking & Payment above), to the

payment credit card, within 10 working days after return if 100% of items are returned:

o Lost or unreturned or damaged (e.g., cracks) cups as follows:

 Pint cups – €1.11 (inc. VAT) per cup

 ½ pint cups - €0.92 (inc. VAT) per cup

 Hot beverage cups - €2.09 (inc. VAT) per cup

 Hot beverage cups lids - €0.43 (inc. VAT) per lid

o Lost or unreturned containers - €30 per container

5. Collection & Return

 Liquids must be removed from the cups prior to placing in the storage container(s)

 Cups (used & unused) must be returned in the storage containers provided.

 The arrangement of the collection and return from the event venue are the

responsibility of the Provider.

 Late, incomplete, or damaged returns will affect the refund of the deposit.

Note: Cups and storage containers will be cleaned, dried and stored for reuse by provider.

6. Use & Liability

 Cups are intended for beverages only.

 The Hirer is responsible for ensuring safe use of the cups at their event or premises.

 The Provider accepts no liability for injury or illness resulting from the use of the

reusable cups and storage containers.

7. Cancellations

 Cancellations made 42 days prior to the hire date will receive a full refund.

 Cancellations within 21 days are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

8. Force Majeure

 The Provider is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its

control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government

regulations.

9. Agreement

By making a booking and/or accepting delivery of cups, the Hirer agrees to these terms.
